We're celebrating amazing organic produce this September and the restaurants that put great ingredients front and centre on their menu. From the organic veggies that go into your favourite green juice to the locally-reared meat that makes the juiciest burgers around, here's our pick of the restaurants that can help you eat organic with Deliveroo.
Tiny Leaf, London
Mmm nothing like a bowl of heartening vegetable broth on an err August?!? day...🥕🥔🍞 Weather aside this yummy dish was served with a generous wedge of sourdough with foraged nettle butter at our @erithlighthouse event last night...a deliciously dreamy night was had by all...more pics to follow! P.s Lots of lovely events are scheduled at the Erith project, check link in our bio for details 👊🏻 #instabroth #local #produce #sustainable #food #regeneration #erithlighthouse #thebrickkitchen #architecture #design #culture #art @mcdesachy @dk_cm @mayorofldn @thedecorators @mhairi_macleod
Tiny Leaf has pulled off a restaurant hat-trick. It's London's first and only restaurant that's organic (even down to the wine list), vegetarian and zero waste. The menu's as delicious as it is resourceful, using organic surplus food stock that's been supplied by supermarkets and retailers, local suppliers, distributors, farms and plant breeders. So that's all the taste and none of the waste.
Eat: Kaizen, Manchester
☀️💜Well good morning sunshine! 😎 If you haven't tried one of our amazing frozen Acai @sambazonuk bowls yet then let this weekend be the time that you do! They are a super healthy alternative to ice cream...packed with vitamins and antioxidants and taste incredible. We have a wonderful array of delicious toppings too...from goji berries, coconut and cacao nibs to almonds, chia seeds and granola. Plus a little bird told us that if you've over indulged a smidgen the night before, then these little frozen bowls are the best natural cure around. WIN WIN! ☀️💜 👌🏽💜🍧#eatkaizen #simplyhealthyfood #altrincham #sunshine #weekend #acaibowl
Eat:Kaizen is all about fuelling your body with great tasting food that does you good. They partner with local farms to source ethical produce with high welfare standards, and they stock fantastic organic brands from fruity smoothie bowls to bottled sodas.
If you're powered by a plant-based diet, you have to give Farmacy a try. These tasty vegan-friendly dishes are free from dairy and refined sugars, plus you won't find any additives or chemicals lurking in your lunch. And with their ingredients sourced from organic UK farms, this is squeaky clean eating with a conscience.
It's not just clean eating that gets the organic treatment. When you're in the mood for something messy – like a beast of a burger or fall off the bone ribs – you can still go all out on produce with Feed. This Edinburgh joint serves up organic pork baby back ribs, organic wings and 100% organic Aberdeen Angus beef burgers, so you get banging BBQ without the bull.
Mildreds makes a conscious effort to source as many organic products as possible for their vibrant vegan and vegetarian dishes. From the silky organic tofu in the stir-fried veggies with kimchi to the organic corn chips with the Smashed Avocado, meat-free and converted carnivores alike can find fantastic produce in every portion. And even when it's time for a tipple, you can pick from a selection of organic wines, beer and bubbly.
The Garden, Hale
The Garden likes to keep it local by sourcing sustainably from nearby organic farmers. This ethical, earth-friendly and Instagram-friendly food showcases seasonal produce at its peak, sticking to The Garden's ethos that seasonal food is what your body needs to nourish itself during that time of year.
When you're having one of those 'breakfast at your desk' kind of mornings, but want to make sure you've got some good stuff to start your day, you can't go wrong with Crussh. Why not get one of their Green Goddess juices, or a pot of Organic Summer Porridge, that are packed with organic ingredients? We'll even bring breakfast to your office, so you can scrap that supermarket cereal bar.
Organic Deli Cafe, Oxford
The clue's in the name with this one. Organic Deli Cafe has been serving up delicious organic dishes to the foodies in Oxford for seven years. Where they can, they like to source as many local Oxfordshire ingredients as possible, and put proper produce into the organic beef and garlic sausages in the Full English to the organic eggs in their French Toast.
Eating organic's never been easier. Just check out more great restaurants that use amazing produce near you on Deliveroo.
