Introducing dish-by-dish allergen information for our customers

At Deliveroo, we want all our customers to be confident they know which allergens are in the dishes they order with us.

So we're helping restaurants to publish dish-by-dish allergen information on our menus, so that our customers can make an informed choice before ordering.

And we're also making immediate changes to our menus to ensure existing allergen warnings are even more prominent in the app – as well as making it easier for our customers to contact restaurants with any concerns or queries they may have.

We're excited to be the first UK delivery platform to provide this dish-by-dish allergen information in our menus – which has been made possible through the amazing work of our tech engineers, and through active collaboration with our brilliant restaurant partners.

The new menu system will begin rolling out in December – with 30 of our restaurant partners across nearly 300 sites already signed up to the new system, including Tortilla, Tommi's Burger Joint, Mildreds, and Chipotle. Even more of our customers' favourite brands like YO! Sushi, Pizza Express, Pho and Byron will be joining the scheme in January 2019 – and we will be working with all of our restaurant partners to give them access to the scheme as we continue to roll these changes out in 2019.

Because all our customers should have the best and easiest delivery experience – and that includes making the most informed meal choices possible.
