We've searched the country high and low to find the best milkshakes with the wackiest flavours that are out there. Hey, it's a tough job, but somebody had to do it!
Some make all kinds of sense - for instance, you'd think pretty much any kind of chocolate or cookies would go well in a milkshake. But what about ingredients such as avocado; you can't imagine it would work, but don't be a doubter until you can speak from experience!
1. Candy Milkshake
At the Shake It Milkshake Bar in Leeds, whatever category milkshake you choose - Chocolate, Cookies, Cakes, Candy or Real Fruit - you then get to customise it by choosing from the different ingredients list under each category. If you're having a Candy Milkshake, maybe you'll play safe with Werther's Originals or Marshmallows. However, the more adventurous milkshake slurpers might go for off the wall flavours such as Tic Tac Lime, Blue Millions or Black Jacks. There's only one way to find out if a milkshake flavour works - and that's to taste it!
2. Cookie Monster

It's hard to know where to start for what the best bit of the Cookie Monster shake from Sblended in Kingston is. Maybe it's the choc chip cookies, the Kit Kat or the Oreos. Perhaps it's the mountain of whipped cream that sits in a swirl above it all, with sprinkles on the top? This is just one of the many tempting milkshakes at Sblended. If cookies aren't your thing, you could go for one of the Moovie Shakes instead. Peanuts of the Caribbean or Beauty and the Boost, anyone?
3. The Legendary Ferrero
Ferrero Rocher chocs are popping up on all different milkshake menus these days, including the one at Nottingham's Heavenly Desserts. Their crispy shells and nutty filling add a certain "je ne sais quoi" to the texture, taking a milkshake to a whole new level! The Legendary Ferrero mixes the chocolates with milk, white vanilla gelato and Heavenly Hazelnut gelato. Layers of Nutella add chocolatey decadence to this shake.
4. Peanut Butter & Jelly
For some people, PB & J makes as much sense as other pairs in life like bread and butter, strawberries and cream, or salt and pepper. For others, it's a no-go! The idea of blending peanut butter and jam and then mixing it all into a milk and ice-cream milkshake may sound alarm bells but, as we mentioned earlier, some things have got to be tried before you understand just how great they are! Put aside your apprehensions and go with this quirky milkshake choice from the Bagel & Burger Kitchen in Cardiff!
5. Fresh Avocado Milkshake
OK, we've saved the strangest sounding milkshake 'til last. Drumroll, please, for the Fresh Avocado Milkshake from Pho Street, London! Avocado's a fairly neutral ingredient, but most people would place it in the savoury rather than sweet category, right? Forget what you think you know about what should be sweet or not and try it; you'll be amazed at how delicious this odd-sounding milkshake is! And if you really think this is just too bizarre, you could always play safe and have one of their bubble teas instead.
How "out there" are you prepared to be with your next milkshake choice? Whatever flavour pops into your head, you'll be able to order it via Deliveroo.
