Chinese cuisine will always be a firm favourite amongst takeaway eaters of Birmingham. It's familiar, comforting and moreish. And that's why we've put together a few of our favourite Chinese eateries in the area, so when you need that comforting crunch of a spring roll, you know where to go.
1. Café 55
If you're a traditionalist and just want to tuck into some authentic Chinese food, Café 55 serve up exactly that, focusing on rustic recipes that showcase classic cooking methods and ingredients. We love their Honey Lemon Chicken Chao Fan, with a bit of everything – tender slices of breaded chicken drizzled with a honey-lemon sauce, with a generous helping of fried rice dotted with egg, spring onions and corn.

2. Han Dynasty
Han Dynasty should be your go-to takeaway menu if you need a full banquet in a hurry. They serve up a huge variety of dishes meaning you'll be able to feed even the fussiest of eaters. They have separate sections for everything from seafood and stir-fry to vegetarian courses, but our favourite is the Chinese-style casserole, served with either mild fried pork and cabbage, or spicy fish fillet.

3. Chung Ying Central
If you're on the hunt for the best dim sum in Birmingham, check out Chung Ying Central. You can choose from a selection of steamed dishes, such as ginger and beef, char sui bao and siu mai. The crispy king prawn dumplings are our favourite, along with traditional spring rolls and gyoza.

4. Chop and Wok
Our stir fry wraps are the perfect summer treat! We recommend our roast duck wrap, accompanied with crispy salad and cool salsa dressing - made with shredded aromatic duck, vegetables, Asian brown rice, plum sauce and coriander. Stir-fried & wrapped in a tortilla with gem lettuce. #Birmingham #FreshFood #HealthyFood #Noodles
Chinese cuisine is delicious, but it can also be a little messy to eat – thankfully, the chefs at Chop and Wok have perfected their own ranges of wraps and wok boxes that pack those much-loved Asian flavours into every order. Now, you can eat a roast duck stir-fry in a handy tortilla wrap, or go for a Health and Fitness Wok Box – you can choose from Protein Rich, High Fibre Veggie and many more.

Minmin's whip up a whole range of Chinese goodies each day, but it's their noodle dishes that have locals going back for more. Try their traditional stir fry options with beansprouts, peppers and onions along with your choice of meat. Or, opt for one of their Japanese-style ramen dishes, like their rich kimchi and pork ramen, their succulent beef shin, or their crispy tempura prawn version. But for a dish that will win over absolutely anyone, go for their fab but simple Salt and Pepper Tofu.
